Welcome to Durham Acupuncture!

Originally I am from Moldova and worked as a teacher for many years, arriving in the UK in 2008.

In my 20's I injured my neck and saw countless doctors who couldn't help and just offered potent analgesics, something I did not want! Finally, I tried acupuncture, after 10 sessions I was cured - where medical science failed, acupuncture had worked.

Once my youngest child had settled into primary school, it was time for me to enter into education again, I enrolled in the Acupuncture course, London South Bank University.

I received tremendous support from my husband, who is a GP and medical researcher, and my sister, who works as a nurse in Canada. The degree course lasted three years and I had the privilege of being supervised by a Chinese doctor who qualified in Shanghai, who had 35yrs experience.

After obtaining my BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture, I obtained a further qualification in Cosmetic Acupuncture.

I also completed one year Fertility Course in The College Of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) and obtained my Diploma in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Fertility.

I am registered and insured with The British Acupuncture Council and accredited by The Professional Standards Authority.

I am a mum of two boys.

In my spare time, I like reading biography books, attending gym classes, and baking.
